Department of Civil Aviation, Ras Al Khaimah Celebrates Haq Al Laila with the Children

Haq Al Laila, a beautiful tradition
of UAE was celebrated with the distribution of sweets and snacks for the
children on Monday 6th March, 2023 at the DCA Building.
The Department of Civil Aviation, organized the Haq Al-Laila event with
the participation of young school students, which included folk dances,
Al-Yawla war dance, and treats for all attendees and participants.
H.E. Engr. Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al-Qasimi,
Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation and Ras Al Khaimah International
Airport, board member of General Civil Aviation Authority & RAK Executive
Council was delighted by the enthusiasm of the staff to participate with such
passion, celebrating a joyous tradition and legacy of the people of UAE.
“Haq Al-Laila is a beautiful legacy heightening the heritage of our
beloved country. The Emiratis celebrate this exquisite tradition every year
during the middle of Sha’ban, the Islamic Hijra month, welcoming the
approaching holy month of Ramadan. We are keeping the tradition alive with all
its splendor that includes folk dances and songs, traditional clothes and
sweets for children” he stated.
