Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah Meets Ambassador & Consul General Of
Republic of Singapore

Vaswani and Consul-General (CG) Raziff Aljunied had the honour of calling on
Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) and Member of the Federal Supreme Council His
Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi at his palace in Saqr Bin Mohammed
City, RAK on 28 September 2022.
They had a good
discussion on various topics of mutual interest. These included opportunities
for cooperation between Singapore and RAK as well as local, regional, and
global developments.
During his visit,
Ambassador and CG also met Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation, Ras Al
Khaimah, His Excellency Engr. Sheikh Salem Bin Sultan Bin Saqr Al Qasimi. They
discussed the Emirate’s aviation sector and plans for the future.
With RAK progressing
towards its next stage of development, there is potential for Singapore and the
Emirate to strengthen collaboration. Ambassador and CG also caught up with some
Singaporeans based in RAK who are already playing a role in pushing this
forward!
