The Department of Civil Aviation, Ras Al-Khaimah and Ras Al-Khaimah Department of Economic Development signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 6th September, 2022 in order to foster stronger partnership by promoting each other’s services and Emirate of Ras Al-Khaimah in general, locally and globally.
The signing ceremony was conducted at the premises of RAKDED, where H.E. Engr. Sheikh Salem Sultan Al-Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation and Ras Al-Khaimah International Airport, board member of General Civil Aviation Authority & RAK Executive Council was greeted and welcomed by H.E. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Kayed Al-Qasimi, Chairman of Ras Al-Khaimah Department of Economic Development as well as RAKDED Director General Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Shayeb Al-Naqbi. It was then signed by both the Chairmen.
This partnership between the 2 government departments is also to nurture innovative and commercial promotional ideas for the development of the emirate.
The basic objective is to enhance communication and cooperation among the two entities, so they can bring together a synergy that will promote joint campaigns in marketing, innovation and customer support, while reducing the costs of pursuing these endeavors individually and help with the implementation of positive ideas generated for the future development of Ras Al-Khaimah.
H.E. Engr. Salem Sultan Al-Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation and Ras Al-Khaimah International Airport, board member of General Civil Aviation Authority & RAK Executive Council expressed his delight at the strategy and objectives aimed towards the progress of Ras Al-Khaimah.
“We are building a foundation of cooperation and support, in order for us to achieve a single goal, which is the development and successful growth of the emirate of Ras Al-Khaimah. For us to be on one page is paramount in striving towards such a worthy aim that dwells on creativity, marketing prowess, knowledge and unity.
The government of Ras Al-Khaimah is moving at a rapid pace to ensure that the growth and development of Ras Al-Khaimah emirate is aligned with international markets and standards. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al-Khaimah and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al-Khaimah on enabling and providing resources for the departments to be part of our emirate’s success. I would also like to appreciate H.E.
